This is the first part of three… what I planned as an escape and declaration of personal freedom turned into involuntary commitment in a psychiatric ward… so I’m sort of reeling and recovering again, looking for somewhere to go for the next couple weeks where I can work in peace… let me know if you know of any cheaply-priced retreats or empty country houses of patrons of the arts…

Lately I’ve been watching a lot of Michael Palin travel documentaries, so many they they’re mentioned in my safety plan that I had at to do at every court-ordered emotional regulation therapy (which I’m done with now! officially emotionally regulated according to His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service!)

The best is definitely the first, where he takes the Orient Express (intermitted by an Italian rail strike) from London To Venice. Since I was a child, I’ve always wanted to go on the Orient Express (autism, yeah, we get it) so I did the next best thing: booked four consecutive trains to Paris, Geneva, Milan and Venice.
