What I’ve been up to recently: I recorded a loveline episode of In Our End Times with poet Sarah Fletcher, which you can listen to at its home on Patreon or on Spotify or Apple Podcasts. I also finally edited and released an episode with Emma Garland of
fame which is paywalled but there’s a free forty-five minute teaser on Apple Podcasts. We recorded it back in September before Lana del Rey got married but I was so prescient about it. I also wrote a review of James M. O’Toole’s book The Rise and Fall of Catholic Confession in America for The Tablet, arguing that confession is actually bouncing back (and that’s a good thing.)
